In Ontario!!
Lol.
Well we made it. The flight was long. Austin was so amazingly behaved. He watched some tv, had some snacks, made some crafts, put some stickers in his book, watched some more tv and finally, fell asleep.
When he did fall asleep it was about 10 minutes before we landed and it was about 9:10 our regular time. I had all our stuff and he woke up and wanted to be carried, which was impossible, which resulted in the only meltdown we had on the plane, just as we were departing. yay! He woke back up and was all geared up to pull his own suitcase again (Lightning McQueen)so off we wandered. We waited outside the plane for our stroller to arrive, and in Austin went.
Let me tell you, our stroller one handed, does not like to turn. so I stuffed his bag into the bottom, was trying to pull mine and push the stroller. It was quite the ordeal.
Fear not, we got to the baggage area, went out into the waiting area to Grandma and Grandpa, then I went back in and waited for our luggage. I was glad to be back.
I would like to randomly shout out to the lady beside us. She was so awesome. She said she is a kindergarten teacher. She understood when Austin tried to lay on her, she played with him and his stuffed monkey, and ignored the random kicks when he was trying to get comfortable. I <3 her. It also helps that when we were getting off the plane she took the time to tell me "You are such a great mom! you kept him engaged and occupied and I can tell you're really good." THANK YOU RANDOM TEACHER LADY. That right there made my day. I was trying really hard to keep him from freaking out and was so nervous that she just made the day for me.
And now I am here and having a blast! We head to Niagara Falls tomorrow for a girl's weekend!!!

I am nervous.
Here I am laying in bed. It's getting later and later but I'm still up. We leave for Ontario for a visit tomorrow. I am nervous.
Will I forget something crucial like my meds? Will I know where I'm going? Will Austin behave on the plane. We are flying right during dinner time. What about a meal.
I have 2 lists going on right now. Just in case I forget something on one list I can cross reference it. Besides, the one on My phone is more for items to pack and my iPod list is more things I have to do before I leave.
Despite all of this I can't wait to be at my mom's in my bed. The bed that Dave and i bought years ago but couldn't take to Alberta with us. I can't wait!!!
I can't wait to see my niece and nephew and watch Austin play with them.
See old friends.

Breaking
I am getting payback I think. Payback for having an awesome baby who was content and would sleep. Hell, even for the fact that while Austin knew the word no, he rarely used it. It's payback for sure.
His new favorite word is No! closely followed by nuh-uh, and nope. All the damn time. I'm trying to let him express himself and learn his boundaries, but that damn no is driving me insane.
No is one of the things that is starting to break me. I'm going to be honest here. It's sure not easy. With the constant no's, and dealing with stupid people and our garbage bins, then the added stress of being 2 parents while my husband is gone. Yeah, I'm starting to break.
As a bonus, I'm in the middle of lowering the dosage on my meds. Not sure that's helping much.
Don't get me wrong, I've been feeling pretty good actually. I've had some frustrations but I've been keeping myself busy and enjoying myself. However the last few days have just felt like a never ending boring loop of frustrations with my son.
Tonight I called my husband and bawled on the phone. I just needed to get it out, stop penting it up! I actually feel much better now, maybe a bit drained from being tired and crying. It is hard. Anyone who is in this situation who says it's not hard might just be on much stronger meds then I have. Some days I just need a little bit of help. Sadly, there isn't much here for help for me.
I am so looking forward to my upcoming trip back to Ontario. A few weeks with friends and family. Plus, to any family from there if you want to take Austin for a day or a weekend or right about now a week or 2, you are more then welcome to. haha!! It's been a long few weeks for us that's for sure.
So, like I said, I am breaking but I know what I need to do put the pieces back together for a way more awesome me.

The bin is gone
Well, I just spent the last hour and a half driving around the park to get no where. My garbage bin is gone. I was given the serial number G03266 and the closest I came was G08266.
I stopped at the office again to make sure it was the correct number I had and sadly, it was. However while I was in the office the oh so helpful receptionist asked if I wanted her to order us a new one. Of course at this point I said no. I also pointed out how I didn't think it was so fair that I had to pay $85 for a new bin when ours was stolen. I also pointed out how it was stolen the day of garbage pickup, I wasn't like some people who leave their bins out for 4 or 5 days after garbage pickup.
She told me that they cost comes back to them so they weren't going to pay it either.
Alas, I have no idea what we're going to do. Probably suck it up and pay it. I am going to let them know that when we move we will take the bin with us. I really hope they say no because it's property of the park then I will make them pay it. Meh, we'll see.
Stupid thieves.

Garbage bin update
Our garbage bin is still missing. sigh.
We live in a mobile home, yes, I'm trailer trash (bahahaha) ok, back to my original thoughts. haha!
so, there are 900ish people in our 'village' our bin could be anywhere. I went to the property management and let them know it went missing.
The least helpful "help" I've ever gotten.
"Well, here is your serial number for your bin, if you can't find it then it will be $85 for a new one."
okie dokie. That's super helpful. So, for the past week and a half, every time I am in the car I drive around like a stalker creepin out the neighbours yards for my bin.
My serial number ends in 66 and so far I've found one bin with 66 at the end. It's kind of hard to drive and read a bunch of numbers so I just thought I would look for the 66. I saw it and by the time I dropped my friend Lindsay off, they put their (or, until proven not theirs THE) bin up by their house. In order for me to actually read the numbers I will have to get out of my car and walk up to the house.
I'm not sure I want to be that creepy.
Regardless, when dave was home we took our garbage to the dump so this past monday I didn't need to put our garbage out. I guess I am going to have to go again this week since we still don't have a bin.
So, what would you do in this case? eat the $85 or keep creepin out our neighbours??

Busy weekend.
Whew! What a craft filled weekend.
I made an Easter dress for my Niece Katrina, and Made Austin and my Nephew Logan a matching tie.
That took a while since in true me fashion, I didn't have a pattern. I have to say the ties were probably the hardest, but once I figured out the basics it was pretty easy.
Then, I made a little surprise, which will be revealed later.
And finally, I tried my hand at making a tutu. It turned out so well and can't wait to see Katrina in it! I had some extra Tulle so I made a smaller one for a friend's Daughter. I have just a few pieces left so I'm thinking that I might make a matching headband to match.
I will post pictures of the before and during wearing later, I promise!!
