it's thursday!

I figured I would post a quick update while my baby is napping...

I have been keeping pretty busy with the birthday party plans. Our house will look like a giant elmo nightmare.. lol. I've got some great decorating plans! The invites are almost ready and now i just have to sit and figure out what kind of food I want to be serving. I have found some elmo cookies to serve.

I've been really tired. I haven't really been tired able to fall asleep at night until 1 or 2, so our afternoons are filled with nap times. lol.

We were at a halloween part and austin showed up as the ever aadorable skunk. Got some great pics, can't wait for Halloween night to show him off.

His second tooth finally broke through this week, he looks so cute with his 2 teeth in there!!

Well, the mister is awake now and fussing, plus dinner needs to be checked.

October!

I can't believe it's october already! I can't wait to get Austin all dressed up in his halloween costume. I think we are going pumpkin picking this weekend. For the past 2 years I have hung some lights and handed out candy but never got around to getting pumpkins. Last year while sitting on my front step handing out candy (because it would have been way too much pain to get up and down every time the door rang) in a blanket with my gigantic belly I swore that this year we would have pumpkins. So this year we're going to get pumpkins. I also can't wait to get some adorable pictures of Austin walking around the pumkin patch.

Austin is also 11 months old next week. I really need to get a move on his birthday party plans, I want to make some super adorable invitations!

I also need to go through my 101 in 1,001 list and update it. I'm sure there have been a few things I've finished and haven't marked off. I know the last book I read was finger lickin fifteen by Janet Evanovich. I better get back to reading if I want to get my 25 done by december 31st!!!

Great Milestones

Austin took his almost first step yesterday. He was holding on to the tv stand with 2 hands, took a step. He then let go and 1 handed took a step then he let go altogether and tried to take a step but when he lifted his foot he fell over. It was very exciting to watch and I'm glad I just happened to be home for it. He has also figured out how to clap. It's so cute now to watch him clap at things. He's getting so big!!!

I went yesterday and got Austin's Halloween costume. He is going to be a skunk. Here are just a few pictures to tide you over till Halloween. Hope everyone enjoys!

Another weekend!

Another weekend is here. We really don't have any plans for tomorrow. Sunday we have church then the walk-a-thon. Dave is umpiring 3 games I think on sunday (one being my dad's team.. should be fun!! lol) I have gotten my 3 sponsors. it's not a lot, only $18 but I'm still waiting to hear back from a few people.

We did stroller fit this morning. That was a gigantic fail! It was getting warm out and kind of muggy. There were only 7 people there and unfortunately they were very fast walkers. I started out fine but very quickly I was finding it harder and harder to breathe. I made it barley 1/4 of the way and had to call Dave to come back and pick me up. While walking back to the centre I actually had to stop walking because I really couldn't breathe and was gasping for air. Not cool at all. By the time Dave got there with my puffer (which I had just taken before leaving the house 30 min before but didn't help at all) I had worked myself up into a panic and just sat in the car crying. Thankfully once I calmed down and took the puffer again I was feeling better and tonight I'm breathing just fine. Hopefully this doesn't happen sunday at the walk-a-thon but I'm going to make sure to not walk/run so fast.

I know it's still quite a while away but I'm getting very excited for Halloween! I can't wait to pick out a super cute outfit for Austin. By then maybe he will be walking around and looking adorable. Maybe we will even get pumpkins this year!!! lol.

Well I should be getting to bed.. I'm starting to get a headache and I'm sure Austin will be up in a few hours. Last night he was up screaming at 1am. He was a little backed up in the bowel department yesterday. I've been making his cereal a little thicker so he can get used to the consistency for other foods that he will be trying soon. We gave him his bottle plus about 1/4 of a bottle with water in it. Worked great and Dave got to change a diaper full this morning. I'm glad he's back to normal.
